Stupid College Courses – Issue 102

Dear Mom & Dad,

I just love Pitzer College. Everybody here is concerned about global warming, diversity, multiculturalism and most important of all, sustainability.

Last semester I took “Tattoos, Piercing, and Body Adornment” from the Dept. of Asian American Studies. It’s about “body modification practices” in Asia, the Pacific and America. We also learned about colonialism and cultural appropriation. It was way past cool.

To celebrate finishing our final exam my friends and I popped a few brewskies and then went to this awesome Samoan tattoo parlor. Boy, are you going to be surprised when you see me!

By the way, I got an email from Finance office saying next year’s tuition is due June 30. In case you’ve forgotten, it’s $63,880.
