How I’m Learning Not to Work!
Dear Mom & Dad,
Wow! Is Cornell a great place, or what? It’s beyond awesome!
This semester I’m taking AMST 3731 – “The Refusal of Work.”
This cool prof is teaching us about fighting “routines of production” with sexual strikes & other stuff. He lectured today on “the right to laziness, malingering, shirking, doggin’ it” and “other attempts to remain human within modernity’s regime of coerced labor.” It’s about problems caused by private property.
So it looks like when I graduate I won’t have to work like you two do! I can’t wait!
Oh – some good news – my tuition & fees won’t go up next year. They’ll be just $64,164!
