What About “Stupidism”?

This week’s Golden Fleece Award, presented with a Big Bowl of Stupid, goes to the U.S. Dept. of Education, which over three years awarded $20,396,892 of your dollars to boards of education to fight “all of the –isms…”, including racism, ableism, orientation, etc.,” according to New York school official Velma Cobb. Hey, Velma – in case you missed it, “orientation” is missing an “-ism.”

This unicorn hunt is funded under Title IV of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which deals with school desegregation. Period. Desegregation came, but Title IV lives eternally to fight such nonsense as “ableism.”

Now – How about a grant to eliminate “Stupidism?”
