A School District Turns Down $27 Million? You Gotta Be Kiddin’
Thursday, May 14, 2015
We give at least 6 tips of our hat to Scio Superintendent of Schools Gary Temple and his school board. Thanks to a quirk in Oregon school funding laws his 700 students were eligible for a $27 million jackpot.
But Supt. Temple and his board believed that “This is not responsible.”
We hope his students learn a big lesson in character from this outstanding leader. And we hope you’ll tip your hat to him as well.
