Let’s all tip our hats to our Lane County Commissioners, whose prudent stewardship of county finances resulted in Moody’s raising Lane’s credit rating from Aa3 to Aa2.

What does this mean for Lane residents? A lower cost of borrowing, which will save taxpayers an estimated $2.4 million in interest payments.
